Accessibility
& participation.
Our approach to accessing the website and supporting different needs and ways to participate in learning.
Programme information
Reviewed 18 October 2026
This page describes the website design and participation approach. If you encounter a barrier, email programs@figured.co with the page and the support you need.
Using this website
The site is designed with readable text, responsive layouts, labelled controls, visible keyboard focus and a skip-to-content link. Navigation and programme details can be operated with a keyboard.
The moving foundation strip has a pause control and a static reduced-motion treatment. All seven learning areas and four age stages remain available without waiting for a carousel.
These are design measures, not a claim of independently certified accessibility. Assistive-technology and real-device testing remain part of launch verification.
Taking part in learning
Different learners may need thinking time, written responses, adjusted materials, movement breaks or supported practice. Appropriate options depend on the activity, learner and setting.
Share general access needs in an initial conversation. More detailed information should be discussed through the agreed restricted intake process. A fit conversation should establish whether the educator, group and venue can provide suitable support.
Boundaries and alternatives
No learner should need to disclose a private experience to demonstrate a capability. Fictional examples and an agreed alternative contribution may be useful.
Specific venue access, platform requirements, language support and available adjustments must be confirmed before accepting a booking. This site does not claim that every format can meet every need.
Feedback and contact
If a page or format is difficult to use, send an enquiry or email Figured. Include the page or programme and the adjustment you need; please omit sensitive personal details from the initial message.
